Massive Flying Saucer-Type Craft Seen Near AWE Burghfield, Reading, Berks, UK

Weather conditions: described below in the witness' own words:
"It was a bright morning... don't think I saw the sun up yet, but it was bright morning... in fact the best sky I've ever seen... all light blue, not a cloud in the sky anywhere... none, not even a plane's energy trail... nothing; but there were two other objects in the sky... the moon and a shinning, flickering, bright star."
Based on witness statement:
September 11, 2004, it was early in the morning between 6.30 to 8.30, when I left my daughter's house in Burghfield heading for a Tilehurst home; as we approached Church Lane, my wife suddenly screamed “WATCH OUT!”
I quickly hit the brakes and just managed to stop before going into a ditch on my right; "what's wrong with you?" she asked... I said, “have a look out of the window - what does that look like?" she said ”a spaceship” in a concerned voice - so I drove the van up the road a bit to get a better look, stopped, and then I got out.
WOW!!!!!!!... from being scared to death one minute, to amazement at what we were now witnessing the next!
I felt privileged to see this... I felt as if I was gifted to experience such an event!
The "spaceship" was Saturn-like in shape, and initially, the thought crossed my mind that this thing had just emerged OUT of the ground, although the idea seemed so far-fetched that I quickly dismissed such a notion: I also thought to myself that it was rather like a hologram, as the object didn't seem entirely solid.
Now hovering over a field, no more than 50 yards away, about 200 feet in the air, I estimated it's size to be easily as large Wembley Stadium, maybe bigger: I wondered how something so huge could even get off the ground!
We watched this for about eight amazing minutes!
The picture I've made up shows the size and the place where we had this experience; it was very close to AWRE Burghfield (now AWE - The Atomic Weapons Establishment) one of the most important nuclear facilities in this country's defence.

What we were seeing was so close to us I could have hit it with a catapult!
The middle had what looked like square, rainbow-coloured windows... and small thunderous clouds were racing through it, which made this thing look like it was rotating.
Like being in some sort of time warp, there was no noise, no cars or people about... and no planes in the sky either!
The 'ship' then moved off in an arc shape, going up as it moved; and its path took it straight over the atomic research base 500 yards away; then it went parrallel to the M4 motorway towards London; that is the point where we lost sight of the UFO, when it dissappeard out of our sight (too far off to see).
I drove up the road 500 yards and parked the van, but didn't observe anything else of note."
Possible sources where further evidence may exist:
(1) M4 motorway cams must have recorded it, the traffic Police, and the BBC, have access to these road cams.
(2) Weather photos of that morning... Sky news again the BBC and also weather stations possibly hold this evidence.
(3) Google Earth may also have evidence.
(4) The Burghfield M.o.D base itself has twenty or more cameras that could/should have recorded the flight of this UFO.
Update: It is our understanding that various UFO researchers, the Police, Google Earth and the MoD have been approached by the witness of this case, and yet all of the aforementioned concerns have failed to satisfy requests made for further information concerning September 11th, 2004.
