Hi, my name is Nigel R, I'm 49 married with a wonderful family; I'm a licensed Close Protection Officer (Bodyguard) and have spent the last 10 years or more in surveillance and observations, so I have an an eye for detail and for situations that are not right.
I've been a believer in UFOs for most of my life, but one winter's night in 1993, March 30th, that was all confirmed for myself and my then girlfriend, as we watched a huge silent craft move at 20 mph up the village of Georgeham North Devon. Level with us! To cut the story short we eventually realised after a few months that it was the same craft and the same date and time as the famous Cosford UFO Incident!
My second sighting was July 13th, 2016 at 1240am, when this wing-shaped craft flew silently, directly over my house in Barnstaple, with a near full moon and just a few clouds around.
The strange part about this particular sighting was that when the craft passed a cloud at incredible speed from West to East, the whole cloud took on a life of it's own, and flared up with 3 extra legs that went from white/grey-ish to an amazing brilliant red/orange... like something out of a science fiction film.
I would love to volunteer my services for being a skywatcher; I'm also keen to talk to witnesses and maybe investigate other sightings in and around North Devon.
