Teapot Lid-Shaped UFO Hovers Above Kirkcaldy, Fife, East Coast of
Scotland, UK
Kirkcaldy-looking over Firth of Forth-10th March 2009
Location of Sighting:
Kirkcaldy, Fife
Date of Sighting: 10th March 2009
Time: 6.12pm
Witness: CB
Witness Statement: 'I took a few photos of the full moon on tuesday 10th March 2009 at around 6:12pm. On one photograph – see attachment – there was something strange near the moon.
The object is just above the lampost and to the left of the moon. This is not the normal flight path and it did not appear in the other photographs. It may be something that is explainable but others may have a simple answer.
The photograph was taken from my front door and I was looking out in the direction of South/East with North Berwick in the background over the Firth of Forth. I live in Kirkcaldy and overlook the Forth. I have attached a second image that was taken around 10 seconds later and there was nothing on it.
Hopefully this is useful and can be explained?'
Later comment by witness (October 27, 2010): 'What still amazes me is that there appears to be a lighter part on the object, the part nearest the moon. It is almost like the moon is reflecting off the underside of it?
Still remains a mystery to me and everyone
else I have shown it to.' End
