August 2005:
UFO "Like Two Dinner Plates Stuck Together" Seen Over New Milton, Hampshire, UK

Witness statement: 'Here is a drawing I made depicting what my neighbour Lenny White and I saw in August 2005.

I first saw it as it was coming over the horizon, (we were on quite high ground at a working quarry at New Milton, Hampshire), and I thought at first it was lightning as it had a very bright strobe, but as it came closer I could see it was something shooting huge diameter laser beams that were contained inside some kind of field.

It came over the horizon and in less than 12 seconds had 'landed' inches from the ground about 30-45ft in front of us at the edge of the quarry, which is bordered by trees.

The object stayed put for 3-5 seconds, still flashing the strobe and red beams, then it blinked out or shot off at impossible speed, or maybe just turned off its lights?

I could see the FLAT END of the tree trunk diameter laser beams as they were cut off by the field. We were scared and I agreed to Lenny's plea's to go home, and we left with it still above the trees.

Very scary walk home that night, past a very dark woods.'

Further witness comments: 'I did not see what was at the center of the 'energy field', all I saw was the big red laser beams and the bright blue/white strobe, and the beams hitting the edge of the field, but Lenny said " I saw it through a gap in the trees, it was like two dinner plates stuck together, with a bit on top.'

'It had just got dark at the time we saw it. The UFO landed a stones throw away, and we were actually looking down at it slightly. I wish I had gone down to investigate now - it would have only taken a 15 second walk, but I was darned at the time if I wanted to get any closer to it ! And Lenny - no way was he going down there!

There is a farmhouse 50ft away and if the farmer was looking out his window, he would have got a good look at the object.'
