Witness statements "I live in North Somerset. It is an area of woodland, coastal paths and a beautiful valley of green fields and protected habitat.  I know that there was certainly "something" there that day because of the circumstances of the photo and in addition to the red light there are clear orbs in the water.

I took the attached photo when I was taking a rest from clearing ground around the pond at the bottom of our garden and I am convinced that there is fairy activity here. 

I stopped because I was trying to get the task finished quickly and felt that I needed to be more meditative and "in tune" with the pond area which is dedicated to wildlife and plants. 

As I sat down, there was a sudden breeze, which blew a fluffy white feather right over my head to the other side of the pond; and then the air was still again.

I took this as an acknowledgment and snapped some photos of the feather.  I sent the pic to my friend **** who is a paranormal investigator.  She spotted the red orb in the pond which I dismissed as light on the lens. She sent the image to a photography expert who could not explain it.

I sent the image to Fate and Fortune magazine and it was subsequently published last August.  Comments from **** ******* was that I had either captured a water spirit or there was a red ball in the water; yet I would have spotted anything in the pond that should not be there, as on that day I was specifically engaged with clearing the pond which is not deep.  

 

So, I am left with 2 expert opinions that this is something a bit strange or, as I originally thought, sunlight reflecting off the lens. 

It was not raining.  There was nothing red in the water, not even a berry or red petal.

 

I am very aware of other beings, mostly the spirit world but also the nature world.  I have seen a tree spirit, so clearly that I could not believe what I saw but later got some confirmation.  I can give a fuller account of this meeting if you are interested. 

 

When I used to walk my dog in the woods, I felt as though the trees formed a single entity and gave good warning if they did not want me to enter their realm.  I once had a very successful day of teaching a group how to contact nature spirits.  Many of them heard singing when we walked through the woodland and had other experiences of the beings. 

 

It is very hard to get people to slow up and be in a calm state as life moves at such a fast pace for so many. 

 

I find your and Hilary's site fascinating and great to have such an open minded approach.
