Unidentified aerial object with beige-coloured lights, seen hovering and moving over Poynings Avenue, Southend-on-Sea, Essex, UK
Based on witness statement:
I have a surveillance camera outside my home, the type which automatically rotates left and right and is connected to a monitor, but doesn't record.. anyway, about a year ago in 2015, (March/April time), at about 12:30pm the camera picked up something very strange.
Trying to think logically, at first I thought it may have simply been a plastic carrier bag or something in the air; yet the weather wasn't particularly windy, and I thought it a bit odd that a bag could be flying about... and even stranger that at first the object seemed to be stationary... just hanging there.
The camera made its next sweep and the unidentified object couldn't be seen for a short while, but when it came back again I noticed that this thing was moving slowly in a zig-zag fashion, and had sort of beige-coloured lights half way around it!
It couldn't have been a
drone, because from all the drones I have seen on TV, this object
looked nothing like any of them.
The object was moving in line with our garden fence, and was
situated high above a tall tree.
I really wish that I had gone outside to see exactly what this was; I shouted to my husband, but he didn't pay any interest in what I was saying.
When I looked again the object had gone.
I haven't told anyone else about what I saw until now for fear of
peple thinking that I was a bit odd, but I'm not; I don't drink and I
didn't imagine it... and had never seen
anything like it before or since.
