I'm sorry but I cant remember the exact date this happened but it was some 
time last year at between 1am 3 am.

Basically me and my other half were asleep then I was woken by
yellow/orange flashing lights coming from the bedroom window; 
it was like someone parked a road gritter outside the window; my partner 
didn't wake up or stir... my dog was sleeping under the window but he woke 
up the same time as I did, walked over to me and sat down just staring at 
me; just as I was about to get out of bed the lights stopped and I didn't see
anything there. 

I know it wasn't a road gritter as the bedroom is upstairs and we have a 
long garden with medium size trees separating us from the house behind; 
I just can't explain it; I thought it might of been sleep paralysis due to the 
fact my dog got up at the same time. 

It's not the first time something strange has happened; at our old house 
about 3 years ago, me and my other half were in bed asleep again at 
about 1 or 2 am; when she woke me up as the kitchen cupboard doors 
were banging like someone was going through them; I was a bit nervous to 
check and tried to get my dog to go first, but he gets as nervous as me, 
(which is surprising as he is a Rottweiler cross Boxer), so I had a look but 
nothing... the doors were locked, no draft, I was unable to explain it; 
after that the noises only happened when it was my partner at home.

Another thing was when we was watching TV downstairs; 

At about 10 -11 pm when we seen a green light like a laser pen, darting 
across 2 of the walls; I checked if there were kids outside or where it was 
coming from but where the position of the front door was it would of been 
blocked by the living room door; plus all curtains were closed; 

So, I stood where it was on the wall and the only thing I can think of it that if 
it was a laser pen the only way to get it on the wall would be if you stood 
on the stairs - but no one was up there, 

Sorry if you think I'm crazy, but I don't know who else to ask.

To this day I'm still baffled; 

I do believe in aliens and believe they had something to do with our 
creation as there are similarities between them and us, but since the 
flashing lights at the window nothing else seems to have happened.

If it helps I'm aged 24, I don't drink and I don't do drugs - so surely it can't 
be my mind playing tricks on me.
