I was sitting in a car passenger seat, driving west on the A12 toward London 
from Romford.  

I was looking to the sky seeing many planes and birds and clouds, when 
a vehicle appeared very clearly.

I looked to see how it was flying, but none of the usual methods were
showing, (such as jets/propeller/blades of a chopper) this thing looked like it 
was a floating platform, with a big dome at the front/back of it. 

I told my dad who was driving not to look as he may have crashed. 

Then a cloud came, and the thing disappeared totally out of sight.  

In regards to my sighting, the 05-09-17 report you have listed seems 
the closest thing I have read about, to mine; a very similar sounding object.
