Looking out due south from Fareham towards Gosport and Lee on the
Solent I witnessed the same 3 purple orbs filmed in the 09/01/17: Gosport,
Hants, UK: Video of Green to Purple Spheres, Flying Randomly &
Forming Triangles case.

At first I saw them close together and I thought it was a plane coming over
toward Southampton airport (nothng unusual there) but noticed something
odd about it and the purple tinge to the colour so I stood and watched a
while, it quickly became apparent they were stationary in a small triangle
formation.

As I watched they began to separate slowly to form a large delta shape,
and as they did this the colour changed from purple to blue to a light blue
and eventually to red.

Closing back towards each other they changed to purple again before
finally separating to a large red delta again and then moving slowly to a
vertical line and changing back to red.

Myself and my neighbor witnessed this.

BEAMS comment: Someone suggested to us that in both cases this may simply be someone flying their Quadcopters; but who on earth would be standing outside in freezing evening temperatures playing at Quadcopter formation flying? and surely, wouldn't these sub conditions affect the drone's battery performance and thus the ability to remain aloft for almost 7 minutes, as with the first case?
