Witness statement:
"I was taking my nephew home, the time was 20:43 on Sunday the 17th July 2016, Grimsby, my nephew got out my car and I looked up in sky and above the field where we live next to I was looking at 3x black or grey kind of type of aircraft but all three were at least three times bigger and a lot wider than any aircraft I've seen before, they was so close to each other and they were a funny shape slightly curved at the top of objects.
I shouted to my nephew and as soon as he looked they disappeared, they did leave three black smoke trials in the sky that's lasted for 6 to 7 seconds before they disappeared.
They was nowhere in sky to be seen, like they vanished into nowhere. but when I saw them they were moving funny and not fast at all.
My nephew saw the trials in the sky they left behind and he said he thought he heard a shotgun noise but I never. The field that it happened on is a football field and no hunting or shooting can take place on it as there's no cover for trees or anything just a open field where children play football on.

I was around 300ft away, I'm not too sure as I was in my car at time and my nephew was about to enter his house when it happened.
They objects looked really low down, I actually thought they were war aircrafts or something with the appearance and patterns they had on.
When I saw them I thought they was going to do harm or something. My first thought was terrorists at first glance but after few seconds I knew they looked different to anything I've seen before.
Also, I thought I saw something else last week in sky as I was travelling home from work on motorway, but as I said, I have never seen anything like these objects before in my life.
