Hi, I've just attached an image shot yesterday at sunrise of contrail, I do this for reference etc for my painting of sky's. I can send the original image if necessary for you to play with. Not really exciting, but, it's not Venus, Mars or Mercury, it's in front of the trail, it's 6-8 pixels across, is not a hot pixel and up close the contrast does not match anything else in the trail.
My position is TW11 0SQ looking east towards Twickenham, Richmond Park and West London.
I checked the position on the frame to confirm the dot does not appear in any other frame so it's not the camera. Nikon P7000 10 megapixel.

Of late there have been a few odd sightings, earlier this week looking from the bathroom window {same direction} similar time, I saw what I thought was a large seagull in the distance in silhouette, but now wing movement, it moved left into a small top section of a cumuli nimbus cloud about 8x larger than the moving object; so I watched and waited, and waited, saw another aircraft fly over and fade into the sunrise; it never popped out and there was clear sky on the other side; it was black in colour no glint of light."
