Welcome to B.E.A.M.S.

Founded in 1991, our society consists of a
team of active reporters and field investigators who
factually gather, study and disseminate evidence relating to Earth Mysteries, (e.g. Ley Lines, Terrestrial Energies and Ancient Site Anomalies), Strange Aerial Happenings, (e.g. Unidentified Flying Objects or UFOs), and The Paranormal, (e.g. Spirit and Psychic Phenomena).

2012 Interview Enfield Poltergeist
Ghost/Psi Phenomena With Janet and Guy Lyon Playfair on ITV's 'This Morning' Show

Anyone with even a passing interest in the paranormal will have heard about the Enfield Poltergeist; this is the name given to claims of poltergeist activity at 284, Green Street, a council house in Brimsdown, Enfield, England from 1977 to 1979 involving two sisters, ages 11 and 13.

Trouble is, much of the public tend to only believe what they are told (or sold) by TV and other media outlets - which generally is that the whole Enfield Poltegeist story was a hoax from start to finish; but those more well versed on the subject will be aware of another side to what happened; that apart from a few larks by the girls involved, a high proportion of the claimed events were actually authentic and involved genuinely inexplicable phenomena.

One of the chief investigators of this case was Mr Maurice Grosse.

In his latter years, I actually became a colleague of his and feel privileged to have assisted this researcher by providing him with a few interesting poltergeist activity reports that were sent through to BEAMS, one of which turned out to be another very important case of paranormal activity.

From what I knew of Maurice, I found him to be an extremely honest, thorough and open-minded man. Ken Parsons - BEAMS Chairman/Founder
