Coming home just after midnight we were star gazing; it was so very clear
and The "Plough" was really bright. As we stood there, something else
caught our attention, moving quickly across high above us.

It was a dull object, not bright in appearance like a satellite or shooting
star.

The colours of this object seemed to be a sort of dark brown/dark orange
and was almost circular in appearance; and in motion, it seemed to be
spinning across the night sky.

Having been an avid star gazer since my teens, (as my late uncle was a
well-read and brilliant Astronomer) I am well aware of what shooting
stars, meteors and satellites look like and have seen quite a few of them
over the years

Another thing I would like to mention is about the other recent sighting at
Sandbanks on your website earlier this month; we live not far from
there, and to be honest, if the picture was clearer that could almost be
exactly what we saw; we are having problems explaining it with no sound
at all... and it was a clear night!
