From Ashton-Under-Lyne, looking out towards the city of Manchester 
and just to the North of the city was a very bright shimmering light. 

It was there for approx 15 mins before it disappeared. 

Pictures taken with high quality Cannon 500d with Cannon Pro 300mm lens 
on a tripod with max exp and no flash.
