['Hazardous Material Found on Road' Media Story Used as Cover For M3 Closure?]
So, what exactly is this all about?
Yesterday, (23/09/17) we received photographic materials from a witness to a very interesting sighting indeed; best of all was the image shown above, (which we have marked and added an enlargement inset) together with a few other pics which are really blurred. >click for an example<
To our initial shock though, there was no report or contact details attached with the aforesaid images; worse still, although we had the persons name, we couldn't even write back them, as the address from our Dropbox account is no reply@dropbox.com, so as you can see that is just not possible.
We made the following statement yesterday (23/09/17) without knowing the full facts: "In addition to the photos, there were 3 video files; these were obviously taken by a passenger in a car, which is travelling along a motorway; 2 of the videos show that the traffic is moving very slowly in a tailback situation and yet on the third, we see the traffic flowing freely."
"Both of these recordings have lingering views of the sky, (as if the photographer is searching for something) snag is, there's nothing interesting actually visible in the sky; we can hear some excited background chatter, but can't make out precisely what is being said due to language difficulties."
"Then finally, we begin to get somewhere in our hunt for clues; judging by a road sign that was briefly visible in the third video, we can now narrow things down a bit; the sign reads 'Basingstoke A30 - ½ m'... so, one doesn't have to be Sherlock Holmes to figure out these videos and the photos were taken fairly near to that aforementioned location in Hampshire." End ©

Well, after putting out for an appeal on our site for the witness to come forward with more info, thankfully they made contact today 24/09/17 (using the correct name details that were supplied to us yesterday with the submission), and it turned out that we were not far out with our guesstimation - it was actually the M3 Winchester!

Here is the gist of what the witness has since told us in broken English.
"There were more than 10 objects flying in the sky. They moved too fast to capture well. Afterwards I put the footage on my PC and watched with zoom and slow motion."
"At the front of us was something which looked like a spaceship, which became invisible and then visible again."
"The object was big and black and didn't move at all for a minute maybe":
"It was full of small balls, with some of them flying as well all the time."
"It was definitely not a plane."
"I just didn't believe that this sort of thing could be true."
About the videos ;"I can't make good videos with my iPhone but soon I will go to that place with a nice camera." End of statement.
Then, suddenly it all fell into place for us.
Many of you would have seen on the news everywhere yesterday, (23/09/17 - same day and general location as this sighting remember) the media people were warning about the M3 being closed because of "potential hazardous material" being found on the road.
"M3 Winchester closed: Thousands of drivers hit by delays".
Well, call this a conspiracy theory if you like, but hello... a large, black, sphere-filled UFO being seen, with smaller objects/crafts flying nearby, all at a visible altitude above the M3... seen and photographed by our witness, (and possibly by others also) and then surprise, surprise, this same road is suddenly closed and a puzzling media story is put out - which came across rather like a terror threat alert; bit of a coincidence don't you think?

Artist notes on the above: "I first drew out in cross section what I thought the "craft" would
look like, (Fig. 1) but when it came to re-drawing the photo (Fig. 2) I could see that it
is not a symmetrical structure. At the viewer's far right, there
appears to be an opening or entry/ exit point. Its form reminds me of
the underside of a Bullmouth Helmet shell (minus the teeth on the
edges).
I think the first drawing submitted is incorrect as to the structure,
particularly this opening but also the general proportions."
