I've always been a skeptic, but last night I experienced something
I'll never forget.
I was awoken by what I assumed was a police helicopter. It sounded
like a helicopter, but was a lower hum, like a washing machine.
I believe it was around 2am, and my window was open, so I got up to
shut the window and obviously spy on what was happening outside.
But instead of seeing a police spotlight, I was greeted by a round aircraft
over the houses behind me.
There were lights on the outside, as well as one bigger one in the middle.

There was also a blue spotlight, scouring the gardens and houses below,
although you couldn't see the funnel, so it must've been a type of laser
light.
I grabbed my camera and took a few pictures, but it was so dark, I was
just frantically changing the settings to get a good image.
The first image I submitted is the clearest one I took.
I then lowered the shutter speed slightly to get a brighter image,
but the aircraft began bouncing around from side to side.
The second image was taken as it jumped from left to right.

I then realised I needed to take a video, but my phone was off, so
I switched to the video setting on my camera, but just as I managed to
get the settings bright enough, I looked up and it was gone.
The sound just stopped and I didn't see which way it went.
If I hadn't checked the photos first thing this morning, I would've
assumed it had all been a dream.
