27-07-16 Flying Cross UFO With Lights Seen Twice Over Silverdale, Lancs and M6, UK
"Good morning,
En route home from work last night I saw two very strange objects in the sky. The first was just as I was coming out of Silverdale near Carnforth. It was definitely not a plane, I'm sure it was flying too low and was too quiet!
It seemed to be shaped a bit like a cross with green lights lighting up the bottom of it and a red light on the side and a white light on the front. I'm sure it wasn't a plane, it looked nothing like a plane and it was so low in the sky! This was about 11.15.
The second sighting was at around 11.55-ish as I was on the M6 travelling home. I was about to pass junction 38 I think, when I saw the same thing again travelling northbound!
Again it was really low in the sky and I was absolutely sure it was not a plane! I may be totally wrong and if I am then I'm sorry to have wasted your time but whatever it was it's something I haven't seen before and to see it twice in one night was rather strange!
The first one I dismissed as a drone (which it may well have been, I've not seen one before to compare) but the second? And both in such remote areas! These things weren't flying way up
on the sky and I happened to see it in the distance, they were low down and in the area!
It was weird!!
