Unsure whether this is anything special - but it looks interesting to us.
If it's a bug, (as I am sure one or two people will claim) then this has got to be one of the strangest-looking examples ever.
I've examined plenty of blurred bugs in flight photos over the years, but have never come across anything like this before.
Object not seen at time, and did not show up on any of the other 514 randomly taken shots.
Camera used was an Olympus SP-620UZ: The lens was clean.

Oddly enough, while we were on this very same skywatch, (just after we had unexpectedly secured the UFO featured here) both Hilary and myself observed a brown-ish colored, missile-like object, shoot silently above our heads.
It went across the sky so fast that I couldn't catch it on camera despite trying.
It was about 1000 feet in altitude but as clear as you like; snag was, it moved at hundreds of miles per hour, so impossible to photograph unless very well prepared with the camera set up on a tripod, which mine wasn't on this particular occasion, sorry to say.
