I recorded this after a tip off from a BEAMS viewer.
Message received:
"Hello, sitting hear watching 'The Yorkshire Dales and Lakes' on More 4 HD.
At 40 minutes a cut to a beautiful valley with dark Heather background, then a small white cylindrical object with a jet stream flies up into the sky????
Good quality picture, can't make it out." End
I found the programme in question and quickly located the clip referred to; it is actually quite interesting - and here at BEAMS we can find no logical explanation for this object; actually, there may be two objects if you watch closely and on full screen.
I don't own a separate DVD recorder, (believe it or not) so I shot this from my TV screen using an HD camcorder: The clip is first shown slowed and enlarged left (with the unedited original right)... next, further enlarged on its own... and lastly, the original, unedited clip reprised.
Yes, my editing is a bit lousy, (or so I was told just recently), but overlooking that, the strange, rising, white object with a streaming tail, is pretty cool and worth showing here to the more discerning viewer; naturally, this has been set as 'Unlisted' on good old YouTube.
We have scrutinized this carefully in high definition and the object in question definitely isn't a bird, butterfly or some other kind of bug, but rather, it is what we consider to be some kind of internally lit/powered energy sphere.
