Hovering UFO Over Devon UK - December 31, 2015
An unidentified flying object (UFO) was spotted in the skies above Devon on New Year's Eve.
Maria Peek took this blurry shot of the "odd" sight yesterday around 3.30pm.
She said: "I noticed a strange light hovering above Exeter – I was stood on a hill in Alphington.
"It wasn't an aircraft, it was too low for a plane and it wasn't moving. It wasn't a helicopter either.
"It was silent and the only movement it made was a very slight jigger.
"It was too big and bright for a drone, however, something odd was in the sky.
"I tried taking a picture but the quality was not very good at all.
"My friends think it could be a possible UFO."
Investigator Steve Wills who first brought this story to our attention said: "normally we would all cry Chinese lantern of a New Years eve sighting such as this... but seeing it was in the afternoon, before dark and doesn't appear to be a lantern in the photo..."
