Multicoloured UFO (Craft? Saucer?) Videoed Over Belgium November 15, 2011
[Please watch video on expanded screen - and scroll page entirely for much more ]
We've had this on YouTube for about 7 years, but in that time, although it was listed as 'public', nobody seems to have even bothered leaving any sort of comment; just a few likes and 4 dislikes... so today, I just got bored and deleted the vid from there and re-submitted it again; and would you believe it? no sooner had it finished uploading, some kindly soul there gave it a thumbs down!
Why on earth such an interesting recording fared so badly is anyone's guess: maybe YouTube themselves are a part of the 'problem' I don't know. (putting the brakes on feedback? is that even possible?)
Here at BEAMS we have always admired this capture, and we consider it to be absolutely genuine; we can't find anything wrong with it at all - and it's rare for us to employ the 'craft' word - but visually, it does seem to resemble, (at least in shape) a flying saucer!
Questions and proposals
Why does the object seem to be creating this spectrum of lights? Could it be pure energy in the form of what is known as *energy plasma?
[*Gases (such as air, which has an equal number of positive and negative charges) become plasma when energy (such as heat or electrical current) causes some of the gas's atoms to lose their negatively charged electrons, creating atoms with a positive charge, or positive ions, surrounded by the newly detached electrons.]
This night shot certainly makes it appear to be in the form of light and energy from within, question is why, and to what purpose?
The only object we can bring to mind that reflects the same kind of colour spectrum from light is mica, or mother of pearl ~ but these might be refracted light sources, not created from within as this object “seems” to be doing.
Another possibility is that this wonderful iridescence and colour-changing is an atmospheric reaction to some kind of 'cloaking' field/envelope around the object.
Could it even be a hologram?
Whatever it is, the camera lens is obviously at full zoom, so some optical distortion in the picture may be present - but nevertheless, if the object IS cloaked, from about 1:31 we still get to see momentary glimpses of what is potentially, something of its complete shape; please examine the screenshots below:
3 x cropped grabs from video; partial, incomplete glimpses perhaps of a saucer shape?
Some food for thought there...
The main video is in HTML 5, (coded this way for posterity, just in case the plug is ever pulled on or by YouTube).
