Visibility: 10 Miles / 16 Kilometers

Detailed Description:
This photo was taken by my Dad at Nelson Ledges State Park in Ohio on 10/23/2011; he was fishing and decided to take a couple pictures for memories.
Shot 1 - with unidentified flying object captured
He realized later on while looking at the pictures, noticed this odd looking object.
My Dad says that when he was shooting the pictures he didn't notice anything strange at he time.
Shot 2 - nothing unusual visible
Shot 3 - nothing unusual visible
Shot 4 - nothing unusual visible
My guess is whatever it was had to be moving really fast and was caught on film at the right moment. End statement.
Update 10/10/2018:
Hello from the States, folks. Just thought I would act the skeptic and make a few observations regarding the subject report.
Here in the somewhat northern U.S., one of the many very common trees is the Norway Spruce. I believe they are common in the UK, as well. That particular tree grows and sheds a cone that looks very much like the "UFO/Cryptoid" shown in the photo taken at Nelson Ledges State Park. Blowing up the photos that were taken that day indicates that there are evergreen trees on the shore of that lake, but it isn't possible to prove that any of them are actually Norway Spruce, though the trees are very common in northern Ohio, Indiana and Illinois.
The photo was taken from shore, as one of the photos shows a shoreline in the foreground. It was taken in October, and because I have two very large Norway Spruce in my yard, I can tell you that the cones are prone to fall in abundance during September and October and beyond.
Norway Spruce cones
In summary, I think it's possible that this photo shows a spruce cone falling from a tree under which the photographer was standing at the time. Obviously, this would have to have been a very serendipitous (OK, lucky!) event, but I would wager I could take a photo that would look very much like that by tossing a spruce cone in the air and snapping a photo. Obviously, it could be an unknown cryptoid or a brown vehicle, as well, but I would think the photographer would have seen such an object if, indeed, it traveled across and in front of him. This object is on the margin of the frame and probably falling, which means he probably wouldn't have noticed it until he saw the photo.

What does the reader think - could this 'UFO'/'Cryptoid' simply be a falling tree cone?
