Message | I was driving back from Doncaster on the 26th October 2018 at 21:26 approximately, when I saw in the sky what looked like a straight row of white lights with some green and red flashing lights underneath. At first I thought it was a plane because there is an airport nearby, but as I drove further, I noticed it appeared stationary, which I found odd; then I approached some temporary traffic lights which were on red, so, as I was slowing down, I saw above a house at approximately 20-30ft, a very large, square craft.
It remained stationary, had lights on the corners, and a straight row of white lights around the edge and another light underneath in the center. I would say it measured 30ft X 30ft approximately, (possibly larger) but it had a slight peak on top, similar to a pyramid shape, but it wasn't a large peak.
So, when I came to a complete stop at the traffic lights, I opened my car door to look back at the craft, (as I had gone about 15-20ft past where I saw it), but when I looked back it had completely disappeared!
When I drove through the lights I tried to use my cars' handsfree to call my wife, but I couldn't even though my phone was connected via Bluetooth and I had signal; but I kept trying and each time the call failed: I wasn't able to get through to my wife until I left Bawtry and started entering Scrooby, which is the next village.
Just before I saw the craft, I felt a strange almost dizzy sensation, but it wasn't like a normal dizzy, it was more like a vibration that passed through me.
There was no sound from the craft.
The sky was very clear I could see the stars and moon, so visibility was clear.
The whole encounter only lasted about 1 minute approximately; wasn't aware of watching the time as I was in still shock at seeing this craft; but I can see it so clear, even now, when I think of it.
It looked like it was made of a dark material, but it almost seemed like it was imitating the colour of the sky, but the framework of it was still visible.
I only wish I had been able to pull over as soon as I saw it and get some photographs, but I will keep looking any time I pass this stretch of road at night in the future.
Kind regards
