A322 Bagshot Road close to Junction 3 of the M3

Duration 5 seconds.short cylinder. Possibly 30 witnesses also car 
commuters like me.one object. 

Very intense bright leaf green light cylinder in shape. 

Was commuting to M3 junction from Bracknell when intense bright green 
light appeared below cloud and streaked at 45 degree angle towards 
the ground and Farnborough area. 

Very fast and gave the impression of 'knowing' exactly its destination. 

No trail. 

Thought it was a meteorite until the last second before blinking out when 
it was clearly not spherical but cylindrical.  

Clear. Overcast. Minimal wind strength. 

No astronomical sky visible. No sound. 

My vehicle speed - steady 20mph in commuter traffic flow.

No smell. 

Altitude from 8,000 ft - 500 ft.

North east to south west direction. 

Only comparable to shooting star or space junk burning up (?). 

Other car drivers must have noticed as well. 

No missing time. 

No other anomalies other than it was arrow straight and seemed to have 
a precise destination. 

Light was constant throughout its travel across my field of view.
