Spotted UFO from bedroom window, as I couldn't sleep and went up to window for fresh air. Above Dickson Drive, Irvine, North Ayrshire, UK. 02.20am. Above shops area.
It was cloudy but dry, saw light in corner of my eyes, looked up and saw a dark triangular object with low levels of light going around it.
Within seconds, I saw three round lights inside the triangle shape, which was glowing pale white in colour; then it just disappeared shooting up through the clouds and was gone... too fast for me to grab my camera phone.
There were no observable astronomical objects due to cloud cover.
There was only one visible object.
I reckon the unidentified was a good few hundred feet above the ground, but can be deceiving due to clouds.
The object was silent, and traveled straight up very fast and silent, was gone in seconds.
