This is a strange one, and i haven't really told anyone about it before, 
but I was thinking about what happened and I thought I would share the 
story. 
When I was young, maybe 13 or 14 years old, I was playing in the snow 
with some other kids who lived in the village; it was maybe about 8pm and 
we were standing in a circle chatting, and with no warning there was a bright 
white light beaming down on us from directly above.
This light lasted for what seemed like maybe 5 to 10 seconds then went off; 
during the whole time I remember hearing a faint humming noise, but I don't 
know if that was my imagination or not.
We all got scared and ran home; I tried talking to the other kids about it a 
few days later but they just wouldn't talk about it or denied it happened.
I cant remember if it was a clear sky or not; there was no wind and it was 
very cold.
