Dear Hilary,
Sorry for not getting back to you till now, I've been busy all weekend.
Our sighting was last Friday evening at around 7.00pm. We didn't take pictures unfortunately but wanted to log what we saw.

Object was described as looking like 'a rectangle on its side with a black dot in the middle.'
Every evening both my boyfriend and little girl go into the garden after our tea to play. We have a long back garden with an open view of the sky. There is always lots of air traffic and we heard then saw a small jet taking off from Farnborough Airport in the direction of North Camp. We both pointed it out to our little girl and as we saw it rise into the sky our eyes were drawn into the distance, much, much higher in the sky than the jet, 7 black dots. They were moving slowly in formation. The shape they formed can be described as a rectangle on its side with a black dot in the middle - it looked like an envelope form in the sky but only with 5 dots. there were two dots trailing behind. We both watched and I said to my other half, is that geese or birds? He said no. His response was " they seem like drones".
We watched for about a minute and they just seemed to drift up, still in formation into some very thin cloud then they went out of sight. There was no sound. They were very high in the sky, almost out of sight, I had to seriously focus to keep them in view. They were not eye floaters as I am aware of mine and we both saw them.
I just wanted to log this sighting with someone and am happy to have a chat about it. I'm in most of the day tomorrow my number is ***** ******.
Please could you let me know if anything like this had been seen before over Farnborough. I'm very into unusual phenomena so it would be great to hear from you.

Today the witness to this sighting kindly visited our home - and here is a fresh statement from her:
The formation of 7 black objects, (see drawing above), were observed looking out from Farnborough towards the direction of the Ash Ranges: 'Both my boyfriend and I looked up at a Lear jet taking off from Farnborough Airport in the North Camp direction, and as we looked up, we saw something else much higher in the sky. These objects stayed in formation and moved very slowly across towards Farnborough, then gradually so far up that they went out of sight. They were in our sight for about one minute.'
The witness doesn't recall ever having seen anything else in the way of UFOs, but is very keen to learn more about the phenomenon.
