As Julie was taking her dog for a walk down White Road in Kempston, her attention was suddenly taken by an enormous circular formation of white lights, which stopped her dead in her tracks.
Julie could only describe this as looking like the London Eye wheel! Eventually the flying illuminations simply vanished, like a light bulb suddenly being switched off.
"This was not the first time that a phenomenon of this kind has been witnessed for the Bedford area either."
Back in 1998, one evening, (exact date unknown), several passers-by and people who had been alerted to step out from their homes, looked up at a mind-blowing hoop of lights, estimated to be about a mile across, hovering high in the sky above the Oasis, Pyramid Swimming pool and Shopping complex.
Checks were made, but no laser light shows or anything similar was operating in this area on the nights of these sightings.
